The “2018 China Robot Welding Skills Competition” will be held at the Lanzhou Vocational and Technical College in Gansu from October 16 to 20, 2018. The competition aims to cultivate talents and motivate the skills of robot welding skills training, discover and select high-skilled talents, promote the construction of welding technology and automation majors and curriculum reforms, and improve the quality and competitiveness of welding high-skilled personnel. The technological progress of China’s welding industry, enhance the technical exchanges between various industries, and make positive contributions to the rapid development of China’s economic construction.

The competition was hosted by China Welding Association, China Workers Welding Technology Association, American Welding Society, China Mechanical Engineering Society Welding Branch, Beijing University of Technology and Lanzhou University of Technology. Shandong Aotai Electric Co., Ltd., KUKA Robot (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. And Shanghai Kumao Robot Co., Ltd. (Robot Online) is the supporting unit, the China Welding Association Education and Training Working Committee, and Lanzhou Vocational and Technical College.
